Here at Hineynu we strive to develop innovative services to better serve you. We are largely driven by the feedback and information we get from users to improve our services and develop new ones. We encourage you to share your suggestions with us. However we understand that you are trusting us with your information and we take that responsibility very seriously. We want to ensure that the information you provide is protected and used only for its intended purpose, namely to serve your needs better.
This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information we gather when you use our services, along with some of the ways we safeguard it. It applies to the information we ask for and that which you provide that could be used to identify you personally such as your name, physical address or email address.
What information is collected and how is it used?
Hineynu collects limited non-personally identifying information that your browser makes available whenever you visit any website. This information includes your Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your query and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser. Users may also be asked to fill out a feedback form on our website allowing them to list any other information they'd like, including feature requests, problems, and concerns. We use this information to operate, develop and improve our services to cater to the needs of our users.
To comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, at this time Hineynu's services are only available to users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under 13, you may not use Hineynu's services.
Depending on which Hineynu services you use, you may be asked to provide some personally identifying information:
Hineynu Tracker
The first time you login to the Hineynu Tracker, you will be asked to accept the Terms Of Use governing the information that is collected and accessible in the Hineynu Tracker.
Hineynu Blog
When you register for the Hineynu Blog we will request some personal information including your email address. This is used to send the Blog entries to you and is also used internally for improving our services. Each email sent will have an "unsubscribe" link to stop receiving future Blog entries. Alternatively you may email an opt out request to Blog@Hineynu.com.
Hineynu Forums
When you register for Hineynu Forums, we will request some personal information to create your account, including an email address and possibly a password. Your password will be maintained on our system in an encrypted form. You also may provide a URL which can be used when you post in groups.
The contents of the postings that you submit to Hineynu Forums are stored and maintained on Hineynu's servers in order to publish the postings and provide the service. In order to protect our users from email harvesting software and bots, your email address is not displayed unless you include it in the content (body) of your post. We also collect and maintain information about your account activity, such as the topics in which you post and messages or topics you track. We use this information internally to deliver the best possible service to you and to continue improving and developing other features to enhance the Hineynu Forums service.
Who has access to the information?
Your email address and personal information will not be sold or given to third parties except where required by law. We may share aggregated information, however your data will be indistinguishable from that of others in the aggregate data and your information will not be personally identifiable.
How is my information protected?
The Hineynu website, servers, and Service use industry standard protocols to protect all information obtained including SSL encryption (secure socket layers), and hardware firewalls.
