What is the Hineynu Forum?
The Hineynu Forum is an open exchange of information and ideas in a warm, caring, and friendly environment. Ask any question about congregant care to our nationwide network of cross-denominational caring committees, temple staff, and clergy, and benefit from their collective experience and wisdom. There are lively and active discussions regarding all kinds of issues that affect congregant care, so if you are facing any issues with providing congregant care (e.g., how to recruit new lay leaders to your committee, how to hold meetings, how to set up protocols for deciding which services to offer to whom, etc.), simply ask the Hineynu Forum. Find answers and advice others have to share, and please be encouraged to participate in the discussions and respond to others' questions so they can benefit from your experience.
What Type Of Questions And Responses Are Allowed?
The Hineynu Forum is open for discussing relevant issues to caring providers, so you may ask virtually any question and give virtually any response relating to caring committees or providing congregant care. There are moderators on the Forum to monitor discussions, but they will mostly by screening out spam, advertisements, and posts unrelated to the topics and discussion of the Forum. However, there are a couple of restrictions related to what is known as "flaming". For example, personal ad hominem attacks on non-public personalities will not be allowed. Moderators will use their common sense to keep the Hineynu Forum what it is intended to be—a clean and friendly place for lively discussion by caring providers.
Is My E-mail Address/Personal Information Safe?
Privacy and security are top priorities at Hineynu, and the Forum has numerous features to protect your e-mail address and personal information. Your e-mail address will never be released on the Forum unless you give it out yourself. When the Hineynu Forum sends out an e-mail, it is sent from an e-mail address @Hineynu.com, and not from your own personal e-mail address. Your e-mail address and personal information will not be sold or given to third parties except where required by law.
What Is The Cost?
The Hineynu Forum is completely FREE. There is no cost and no obligation, and it is our intent to keep it that way. There are also no advertisements or spam (including for the Hineynu Tracker). We want it to be an open public place for caring providers to co-mingle and discuss issues relevant to providing congregant care. In order to do this we are setting up a "no strings attached" environment where we will not charge for the service, and we encourage you to invite other caring providers (including those who are not Hineynu Tracker users) to join the Hineynu Forum so they can participate too!
